Dear Prospective Member Business:
The Morrison's Cove First Federal Credit Union cordially invites your business to join our field of membership at NO COST or obligation to you.
The Morrison's Cove First Federal Credit Union is the oldest credit union in the Cove, having served the financial needs of this area since 1954. Because of our longevity and financial stability, we can offer the community higher interest rates on savings and lower interest rates on loans. We offer a wide range of financial services, making the credit union a benefit for your employees. When your business joins our team, your employees and their immediate family become eligible for membership.
The credit union is a co-operative. Being a member makes you an owner. Since we are member owned, your money stays right here in the local community. You don’t have to worry about whether the credit union is going to be bought out or merged with another credit union. Confidentiality is one of our top priorities. Since we are a non-profit entity, all credit union profits come back to the owners in various ways.
Contrary to some belief, Appleton does not own Morrison's Cove First Federal Credit Union. They are an employee group the same as you will be if you decide to join us. D. M. Bare Paper Co. did sponsor our charter in 1954; however, we are a business of our own. We are managed by a Board of Directors voted on by the membership and presently, have 10 management and staff professionals to serve your financial needs.
The Morrisons Cove 1st Federal Credit Union is regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), which is Federal Agency that insures savings up to $250,000 per person. Our IRA's are insured up to $250,000.
If you are interested in joining us or want more information on how you can become a member business, please feel free to call our office at 224-2744 and ask for Ms. Lynnette Hamm.
I hope you give us the opportunity to serve you and your employees’ financial needs and hope to hear from you in the near future.
Sincerely,
Bethann Frederick
President/Board Chair
